ABOUT ME

In my studio where I become immersed in feltmaking!

Since 2005 I have been working in felt, a wonderful ancient textile which is created from natural wool fibres.   Using the ‘Wet Felting’ process I create unique sculptural items for the interior, all of which are individually hand-made.

My inspiration comes from nature, the beautiful Scottish coastline and specifically pebbles, heathers and ferns and their lovely colours and forms. Here I am on the beach with my felt doorstops where we were doing a photo shoot of my pebble range.

I have a Fine Art Degree and Level 2 and Level 3 Diplomas in Feltmaking. I am a member of Design Nation, The International Feltmakers Association and am a proud supporter of The Campaign for Wool and the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.

I work from my home studio in a rural Leicestershire village and sell my work with a number of Galleries and stockists throughout the UK and through my on-line shop.
